Amid quarantine, Prudential Guarantee continues to serve clients

Prudential Guarantee and Assurance, Inc. (PGAI) continues attending to its clients nationwide by keeping its communication lines open for filing of claims. Among other services being offered are the confirmation of cover on new business, renewal of policies, and extension of cover, all of which are being done online.

PGAI account executives, agents and brokers can be contacted by clients who are filing for claims on all lines of business. The company’s personnel will then provide clients a checklist of requirements specific to a particular insurance plan.

In keeping with guidelines issued by the Insurance Commission on March 23, PGAI is granting a 60-day extension to policyholders whose payment deadlines fall within the quarantine period. However, policies on a staggered payment plan with fees due after the quarantine period would have to honor the original payment deadline.

Also extended by at least 30 days are the renewal of motor, fire, and other lines of business with expiry falling within the quarantine period. Affected policyholders need only to send a written request through their assigned account executive, agent or broker to avail of the extension.

Other PGAI services available to clients are the Emergency Roadside Assistance (depending on travel limitations); endorsement of travel plan changes for policyholders of PGAI Travel Shield; and medical-related assistance to certain policyholders of Personal Accident and Travel Shield programs.

Meanwhile, other PGAI branches continue to serve its clients nationwide under work from home arrangement, offering services as far as current protocols allow.
